It’s hassle-free to scrap your unwanted vehicle with Benfleet Scrap Co. If your car is still road legal and can be driven, you can drop it off at one of our Essex depots to be dismantled and recycled.

If you can no longer drive your car – it may no longer be roadworthy or be insured, taxed or hold a current MOT), we can arrange for one of our drivers to come and collect your vehicle. As long as it has four wheels and can be safely loaded onto our recovery vehicle, we can scrap your car or van!

There are a few things you may need to present, such as the vehicle’s V5C registration logbook, keys, etc. You don’t necessarily need to be present when your car is collected; you can ask a trusted friend, relative or neighbour to deal with our driver.

Without an Environment Agency licence, a business cannot offer legal scrap services or provide you with an authentic Certificate of Destruction (CoD). And without a CoD, you will remain liable for any road offences or fines the vehicle may incur, even if it is no longer in your possession.
