Scrap car collection Tilbury – what will you need?

In order to legally scrap your vehicle, you will need to fill in the relevant fields on your V5 document and send it to the DVLA in order to let them know what you are no longer in possession of the car. 

Ideally, the owner should be present during collection; however we understand that this is not always possible so a trusted friend or relative can be there instead. Please note that if you would prefer to be paid by cheque, we are legally required to issue it to the person who is present, hence why it needs to be someone you trust!
