Benfleet Scrap Co is an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF), which means that we have a license issued by the Environment Agency that allows us to scrap vehicles. Please note that only ATFs can legally dismantle and recycle cars and vans and we do so in a safe, responsible and environmentally friendly manner. 

Once scrapping has taken place, we can provide you with an official DVLA Certificate of Destruction; only an ATF is able to do so. As such, if you do not scrap your vehicle with an Authorised Treatment Facility, you will not be issued with a CoD, leaving you liable for any tax or traffic penalties incurred, even if the car is no longer in your possession.
